December is weer bijna voorbij en dat geeft mij weer de kans om een overzichtje te maken met wat ik heb gelezen en welke boeken extra veel indruk op me hebben gemaakt! Tijd voor de december wrap-up!
Ik las in december 12 boeken. Minder dan ik had verwacht, maar er zijn een aantal boeken waar ik behoorlijk lang over heb gedaan. Misschien dat er de laatste dagen nog wat bijkomen, maar het derde trimester kost me meer energie dan ik had verwacht.

Mijn favorieten
Omdat ik wat minder heb gelezen en ook wat kritischer was over de boeken dit ik las, heb ik ditmaal drie boeken uitgekozen die ik tot mijn favorieten van de maand zou rekenen.

Daughter of the Siren Queen vond ik heel vermakelijk. Ik las het boek eigenlijk bijna in een ruk uit en genoot van het avontuur. Het was niet teveel nadenken, had een heel vlotte schrijfstijl en een fijne hoofdpersoon.

Uiteraard stond ik er ook om te springen om The Queen of Nothing te kunnen lezen. Deel 2 had immers zo’n cliffhanger! Ik vond het een heerlijke afsluiter en heb het boek met heel erg veel plezier gelezen. Zo jammer dat de trilogie nu afgelopen is!

Leesbeesten Leesclub lid Amé is super enthousiast over Heartstopper en tja, hij stond eigenlijk al lang op mijn wensenlijstje… En toen Amé zei dat je alle comics op Tapas kunt lezen, besloot ik dat lekker te doen. Ik stoomde in een keer door: Nick en Charlie zijn zó leuk.. ik ship het intens en ik ga de comics zeker volgen (en ooit toevoegen aan mijn kast).
En de rest van de dagen dan?
December is natuurlijk nog niet helemaal voorbij, dus het kan zijn dat er nog wat boeken bijkomen. Ik schrijf dit op tweede kerstdag en ik ga beginnen in De verminkte koning. Ik heb de Engelse al gelezen, maar ik duik graag opnieuw in dit boek! Ook hoop ik The Triumphant en/of Ship it nog uit te lezen en een beginnetje te maken in Zonderling, welke ik nu voor de derde keer ga lezen, dit keer voor de leesclub.
