Grijs maakte veel indruk op me. Het is een heftig boek waarin consent en het grijze gebied eromheen centraal staan. Ondanks dat het een dun boek is, gebeurt en veel en weet van Tongeren veel emoties te vangen.

Ik heb het cozy fantasygenre helemaal ontdekt en daarom besloot ik spontaan dit boek te bestellen. Het is schattig en cozy. De schrijfstijl lag me niet helemaal, maar ik vond het verhaal toch leuk genoeg om te kunnen genieten. Het was vooral heel erg schattig.

Nog een barbarian. Maar dit was andere koek. We hadden het met de leesclub zo vaak over dit boek, dat ik besloot het een kans te geven. Mijn verwachtingen waren een opgetrokken wenkbrauw van afkeuring, maar eigenlijk was het best vermakelijk. Er was me verteld dat de penissen in dit verhaal weerhaken hebben (au), maar het bleken meer ‘specifieke vibrators aan grote blauwe man’ te zijn. Dit boek is 99% smut, 1% plot.
