Gishwhes

Ongetwijfeld heb je het gehoord: ik deed dit jaar mee aan Gishwhes. Waar ik me voornam al mijn dingen al te delen, las ik in het regelement dat delen tijdens de hunt niet toegestaan was. Dus tja.. Vandaar dat ik vandaag in dit blogje mijn belevenissen en items wil delen.

Allereerst vond ik het echt heel erg tof om een aantal van mijn teamleden te leren kennen. We waren meteen een leuk groepje en het klikte enorm. Groepje? Aantal? Ja, want van een aantal teamleden hebben we niks gehoord en weer een aantal teamleden hebben geen enkel item voor hun rekening genomen. Dat vond ik echt heel jammer. Niet alleen omdat we nu nul kans op winst hebben, maar ook omdat het zo gezellig en chaotisch had kunnen zijn. We hadden nu maar 6 actieve spelers van de 15 leden. Dat vond ik ergens wel een domper.. Waarom geef je je dan op? Ik geef eerlijk toe dat ik ook een scholarship heb gekregen, maar juist daarom ben ik extra actief geweest; ik wilde de rest niet laten zitten. Maar goed. Het was gezellig, leuk en geniaal en daar gaat het uiteindelijk om. Dit zijn mijn bijdrages aan het team geweest:

4 VIDEO. Get 10 of your friends to stand on a field or lawn. Strap inflated balloons to 5 of your friends’ stomachs. The other 5 friends must pop these balloons using only the impact and weight of their bellies or their bums (they can’t use hands, feet, mouths, or anything sharp).

91 IMAGE. You know how when you draw lines to connect the stars in a constellation you see the image of the thing it’s supposed to be? You connect the stars in the Big Dipper and you see a giant ladle. The Stars of “Supernatural” deserve their own constellations. Connect the dots of stars to create a constellation in the likeness of a Supernatural actor. Your constellation must be crafted from an actual high-resolution telescope photo of stars in the night sky. You may not overlay an image over the night sky. You must connect stars to form the shape. You may use an existing image (or images) of the night sky

Dat komt neer op vrijwel elke dag een item. Ik had er nog wel meer willen doen, maar vaak had je de hulp van anderen nodig, of een ander teamlid had het al geclaimd (en niet altijd werd het uitgevoerd). De lijst wat fabuleus en volgend jaar doe ik zeker weer mee!
